Two chefs. Two cities. One shared passion.
On 20 November 2026, the Dinner with an Eger Winemaker series returns to Imola Hotel Platán for another special evening.
This time, the wines of Stumpf Winery meet a collaborative menu created by Kreácsik Ádám and Darab Ádám at Borág Restaurant.
An evening shaped by the Bükk Mountains, the ingredients of the autumn forest and the distinctive character of the Eger wine region.
The Bükk Mountains stretch between Eger and Miskolc. One forest, one landscape, yet countless different perspectives. This shared source of inspiration lies at the heart of our November wine dinner.
Kreácsik Ádám and Darab Ádám arrive from two different culinary backgrounds, interpreting the flavours, aromas and ingredients of autumn through their own individual styles.
Together, they create a menu in which the forest is not simply a backdrop, but one of the central characters of the evening.
Stumpf Winery and the Eger Terroir
Stumpf Winery brings the wine perspective to the evening. The selected wines reveal the diversity of the Eger wine region, the character of its terroir and the individual philosophy of the winery.
A close connection to nature, respect for tradition and an appreciation of distinctive flavours create natural links between the wines and the dishes designed by the two chefs.
Wine is not simply an accompaniment on this evening. Each pairing forms an integral part of the menu and adds another layer to the story inspired by the forest.
Two Chefs, Two Cities
Kreácsik Ádám brings the contemporary culinary philosophy of Borág Restaurant to the evening. His cooking combines Hungarian ingredients and familiar flavours with modern techniques and a refined approach.
Darab Ádám joins from Miskolc, where he represents his own distinctive culinary style as chef of Végállomás Bistro&Wine.
For one evening, two chefs and two different perspectives come together around a shared idea. The aim is not to make every plate speak the same language, but to allow different techniques and interpretations to become part of one coherent story.
The Forest on the Plate
The autumn forest offers a remarkable palette of ingredients and aromas. Game, wild mushrooms, root vegetables, herbs and nuts shape the culinary concept of the menu.
Fermented elements and subtle smoky notes add further depth and character to the dishes.
Each course captures a different side of the Bükk Mountains. Earthy, deeper flavours give way to fresher herbal notes, while the entire menu follows one carefully composed culinary arc.
Where the Bükk Mountains Meet Eger Wine
The earthy aroma of wild mushrooms, the depth of a game dish or a subtle smoky note can reveal an entirely different side of the same wine.
These moments of discovery are what make a wine dinner truly memorable. The dishes and the wines of Stumpf Winery do not simply appear alongside one another, but remain in dialogue throughout the evening.
One Eger winery, two chefs and a culinary world inspired by the Bükk Mountains, brought together around one table.
Flavours of the Forest
